The eye contour is the most delicate area of the face. It needs our biggest attention because the age, tiredness and stress leave their signs on different ways from rings under the eyes to “crow’s feet”, not forgetting the bags and swellings in the eyelids.
Oculoplastic surgery deals with every kind of problems around the eyes, in the eyelids, brows, etc. not only medical diseases (as eyelids disorders), but also cosmetic problems. The skin in this area is smoother and the water evaporation is twice more important. Furthermore, the quantity of elastin and collagen fibres is much lower.
